Operation Sandbox was started by Julie and Virginia Pearson. Both Julie and Virginia saw a need to send supplies to troops serving abroad during the holidays. They asked for support from their home church and were answered with an astounding YES. "Sandbox" not only sends to our Georgia troops, but we send care packages to all branches of our military who are stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

What started out as a one-time project, flowed into a ministry in a small church and then branched off to a nonprofit organization is incredible.  The church has generously supplied Operation Sandbox with operating space (and much support) over the last three years.  We are excited to say that we have quickly outgrown that space and have been suffering from "growing pains" for sometime.  Upon the advice of professionals we are proud to annouce that Operation Sandbox GA, Inc. has become a non-profit organization.  To all the faithful volunteers, members of the church and to all who have generously donated all over the United States we are truly grateful.  We appreciate your continued support to help keep the morale of our military high through the sending of care packages to Iraq and Afghanistan.
